Construction phase with strict health and safety regulations

The BETH solar power plant is located on steep agricultural land in Thessaloniki, North Greece. The project was comissioned in November 2017 and sold to our client HELLENIC PETROLEUM RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES S.A. (HELPE Renewables).

Over 12,000 solar panels generate 6.2 million kilowatt hours of clean electricity annually, succient to supply approximately 1,350 homes. The solar power plant also prevents the emission of 4,200 tons of CO2 per year.

This is one of the flagship projects of JUWI Hellas as the solar power plant is constructed adjacent to an oil refinery and the project development was subject to very strict health and safety regulations which were followed during the entire construction phase.
