Objectives

As the O&M Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance and operations activities of a 204 MWp PV plant in Kozani area (including the High Voltage substation). You will report to the Plant Maintenance Manager and will work within the plant.

The duties of the O&M Site Manager will begin with the interconnection of the PV Station to the Grid. As a preparatory stage for the assumption of duties, the O&M Site Manager will be involved in the construction phase of the project, undertaking the preparation and execution of the Commissioning Plan of the Station, in collaboration with the company's Commissioning Manager. His / her role, at this stage, will be to record and monitor all the required procedures and to coordinate all stakeholders in order to successfully complete the Commissioning process on time.
 

Primary responsibilities

  • Responsible for all maintenance and operation activities during operation phase, according to company’s procedures, the legal framework and principles of proper execution.
  • Responsible for the implementation of corporate policies and procedures for Health & Safety at the Station.
  • Management of the local O&M team of the company as well as supervising the subcontractors.
  • Liaison with the local representative of the Station Owner and his Engineer.
  • Liaison with IPTO, mainly regarding the operation of the MV / HV substation.
  • Liaison with local authorities and other stakeholders.
  • Execution of preventive and corrective maintenance work, according to the requirements of cost, time and quality.
  • Responsible for the stock of spare parts, materials and tools at the Station.
  • Responsible for the investigation and analysis of incidents (technical, Health & Safety or others) and the planning & execution of preventive measures.
  • Carry out regular inspections at the Station (including MV / HV substation).
  • Preparation of all reports, regular and extraordinary, based on contractual and internal requirements.
  • Contribution to the maintenance work of other PV stations in the wider area.

 

Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes

  • Degree of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (ΑΕΙ or ΤΕΙ).
  • Holder (or beneficiary for immediate issuance) of the Certificate of Licensee Installer or Maintenance, for all categories and scales of electrical installations (from the respective Prefecture).
  • At least 8 years of previous service in the construction and / or maintenance of PV stations or other power generation units.
  • Work experience in MV / HV substations, including transformers, switchgear and relays.
  • Work experience is desirable i) in MV / HV substations (including operating experience) ii) in the construction, commissioning or operation and maintenance of PV Stations greater than 20 MW iii) in central inverters.
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and regulations.
  • Computer literate, especially in MS Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure & under limited supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills & team management skills.
  • Ability to write reports.
  • Good knowledge of English (oral and written).
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays (based on a rolling schedule).
  • Valid driving license.

 

Other requirements

The O&M Site Manager must be a local resident of the greater Kozani area or to be willing to relocate.

About the role

Due to further expansion, we are looking for a Project Finance Manager (m/f/d) to be based in Athens, Greece.  This position will lead the project level financial modelling and provide transactional support to the project teams in Greece (Business Development, Sales, EPC and O&M). The role will also act as the key subject matter expert from a project finance perspective and will report directly to the Managing Director.

 

Primary responsibilities

  • Provide valuation and structuring guidance throughout the business development and sale process, advising on commercial agreements, risk allocation, bankability of contracts (including PPAs), financing alternatives, and expected investment returns.
  • Actively engage with prospective counterparties to clarify project valuation, risk allocation, assumptions and market perspectives.
  • Collect and analyze relevant data such as energy price curves, PPA assumptions, tax, financial inputs etc, using analytical tools and advanced models in order to create financial model assumption, predicting and qualifying risk and profitability.
  • Gather & handle financial modeling data with accuracy in order to help juwi team with investment decisions for project development and acquisition opportunities.
  • Define and support internal stakeholders in the energy sale strategy for each project (PPA vs merchant approach, auctions pricing definition.).
  • Develop creative financing strategies and examine the most competitive sources of funding.
  • Organize and conduct the process for financial partner/lender selection, including preparing teasers, IMs, and participating in the outreach.
  • Support juwi team in clarifying project valuation, risk allocation, assumptions and market perspectives.
  • Lead the negotiation of key financial terms of the transaction documents.
  • Manage multiple parties including banks, consultants, lawyers as well as internal stakeholders to bring transactions to successful close.
  • Support and engage with the Corporate Finance team in accounting, controlling and treasury matters, including participating to Annual Budget definition, reporting to shareholders, pipeline management.
  • Lead the financial modeling and analysis supporting investment decisions for project development and acquisition opportunities.
  • Cooperate with juwi’s Finance Managers in the EMEA region, to maintain financial model assumptions, while retaining responsibility for the accuracy and correct incorporation of relevant inputs to such models (energy price curves, PPA assumptions, tax, financial inputs etc) for Greece.

 

Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering. Masters, MBA, CFA, CPA, and/or equivalent certifications are an advantage.
  • 5 years of demonstrated expertise in developing and utilizing detailed financial models, including a project finance and accounting component.
  • Knowledge of the merchant power markets drivers and hedging instruments.
  • Knowledge of Tax Equity structures and IRS requirements is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS accounting topics.
  • Experience structuring and closing M&A and/or financing transactions, including reviewing and negotiating legal documentation.
  • Experience conducting investment analysis in the clean energy sector at a developer, fund, bank, or consultant is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills, capability to drive insights from complex models.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to summarize complex investment cases.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-based environment.
  • Uncompromising ethics and urge to challenge the status quo.
