Senior Project Manager

Your duties and responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Manager you will drive the implementation of complicated photovoltaic projects

 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Direct and manage project efficiently from beginning to the end, respecting deadlines
  • Define scopes, create full-scale project plans and construction schedules and monitor on-schedule implementation. Plan and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables
  • Communicate project expectations and goals to team members in a timely, efficient and clear fashion. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel and follow up deliverables
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Liaise with the customer on an ongoing basis. Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations to company executives and the customer.  Report  on  any  immediate  decisions/ issues  pertaining  to  the  execution  of  the  Project.

  

Your profile:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar. Commercial studies at a post-graduate level will be considered a plus
  • 15 years of hands-on experience, with proven record, in project management, in the construction field and/or in the renewable energies
  • Strong verbal / written communication skills in Greek and in English
  • Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Autocad etc.)
  • Customer satisfaction orientation
  • Proven advanced negotiation, planning and follow up skills. Experience with quality management systems will be considered a plus   
  • Availability to travel frequently within Greece and stay short periods away

Construction Managers

Location: a) Athens  b) Thessaloniki

Your duties and responsibilities:

As Construction Manager you will be in charge of the smooth, cost-efficient and high-quality installation of photovoltaic plants

 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate the procedures on site, direct and supervise the correct construction by subcontractors, including final inspection
  • Implement labour requirements and lead the procedure of obtaining all necessary permits and licenses. Coordinate measures regarding occupational safety. Inspect site and subcontractors for compliance with Health and Safety codes
  • Assist purchasing team in tendering procedures and awarding of contracts, defining key parameters, specifications and deadlines. Monitor on site the quality of delivered products and services
  • Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines. Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports. Liaise with Quality Manager ensuring the implementation of company’s quality standards
  • Take actions to prevent or deal with the results of delays, bad weather, increased risk or emergencies at construction site
  • Confer with customer and subcontractors to resolve complaints and with the design team to resolve construction challenges.
  • Manage the commissioning of the plant, the connection to the national electrical grid and the hand over to the customer, following specific acceptance procedures in conformity with juwi and customer requirements

 

Your profile:

  • Degree in Electrical engineering or similar. Studies in Construction Management at a post-graduate level will be considered a plus
  • 10 years of hands-on experience, with proven record, in electrical installations and/or in the construction field. Experience in Medium Voltage networks will be considered an asset
  • Strong verbal / written communication skills in Greek and in English
  • Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, MS Project, Autocad etc)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek regulations regarding health & safety and electrical installations
  • Proven planning, reporting and follow up skills   
  • Availability to travel frequently within Greece and stay long periods away

  • Liaise with all departments, set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures. Monitor projects execution and company’s performance by gathering relevant data and produce reports
  • Identify relevant quality-related training needs and deliver training. Take corrective actions, when needed, ensuring an uninhibited execution
  • Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the company.

Your profile:

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar. Quality Management studies at a post-graduate level or professional certifications (e.g. Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) will be considered a plus
  • 8 years of hands-on experience, with proven record, in quality management in the project field and/or in the renewable energies  
  • Strong verbal / written communication skills in Greek and in English
  • Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS project, MS Visio, etc.)

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Locate and assess potential installation sites
  • Negotiate with the landlords the terms and conditions of lease contracts
  • Lead the licensing procedure, including collaboration with local authorities. Prepare all appropriate documentation ensuring timely submission and follow up
  • Develop effective system for monitoring the various stages of each project in the pipeline
  • Monitor the respective legal framework, having at all times clear picture about the related laws and regulations
  • Define functional requirements (timelines, budgets, resource allocation) and evaluate risk and complexity of each opportunity

 

Your profile:

  • University Degree in related area
  • 5 years of hands-on experience, with proven record, in renewable energies project development
  • Strong verbal / written communication skills in Greek and in English
  • Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Autocad)
